The low-cost European airline, Wizz Air, announced on Sunday five new destinations that will be taking off from Abu Dhabi International Airport and start these flights in June 2020, after a March agreement to establish Waze Abu Dhabi as a domestic airline based in the United Arab Emirates.
Those flights link the emirate, Budapest and Bucharest and start in June 2020, and with Cluj-Napoca, Katowice and Sofia, and start in September 2020, but provided that flights are generally resumed in those countries concerned, that is, based on the decision of the Civil Aviation Authority and the approval of both countries.
It is worth noting that Wizz Air was founded outside Europe, and it is expected that it will start work soon in 2020 and is the first European low-cost airline to launch flights to Abu Dhabi.
Wizz Air will focus on building roads for markets in which Wizz Air has current high growth operations, namely Central, Eastern and Western Europe, as well as the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and Africa, in the long term.

In the event of a travel ban imposed due to Corona, travelers who have booked flights affected will be given an opportunity at a later date or a full cash refund or 120 percent of the reservation value in the WIZZ balance, which can be used to purchase WIZZ flights and services.
