In accordance with the decisions of the Coordinating Committee headed by Hrh Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, First Deputy Prime Minister, and in line with the precautionary measures and preventive measures taken to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus, In accordance with the decision to close all shops from March 26 to April 9, only delivery.
With the exception of hypermarkets, groceries, refrigerators, bakeries, pharmacies, bank branches and banks, all shops will reopen again from April 9 to April 23, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism would like to emphasize the following:
All industrial and commercial stores that provide goods or services directly to customers will be closed from 7 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2020 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2020.
The following are excluded from these industrial and commercial shops:
1- Hypermarkets, supermarkets, refrigerators and groceries, shops selling vegetables, fish and fresh meat.
2- Manual and automated bakeries.
3- Fuel filling stations and natural gas filling shops.
Hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and eyewear shops.
Banks, banks and exchange shops.
6- Administrative offices of institutions and companies, whose activity is not directly related to customers.
Shops involved in the import, export and distribution of goods.
8- Workshops and garages for the repair and maintenance of vehicles and spare parts shops.
Construction and maintenance sector.
The Ministry noted the importance of their adherence to the rules and procedures issued by the Ministry of Health in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, in particular measures of social spacing.
Industrial and commercial shops are allowed to sell goods and services electronically and social media through the goods delivery service. Restaurants and food and beverage shops are also allowed to operate through external sales services and home delivery.
