His Excellency the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, issued Decision No. (106) for the year 2020 regarding the formation of a committee to organize and follow up the work of centers and seminars for memorizing the Noble Qur’an and teaching its sciences.
According to the decision, the Noble Qur’an Affairs Committee will be formed headed by the Assistant Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs, and the membership of each of Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Omari, Director of the Department of Holy Qur’an Affairs, Wael Anis Ahmed, Assistant Advisor, Khaled Ahmed Mustafa, Head of Financial Resources, Yasser Muhammad Siyadi, Head of Qur’anic Competitions, and Mubarak Yassin, Legal Researcher And Hamdan Khaled Hussein, Senior Specialist of Memorization Centers, Zuhair Rashid Abdul Karim, Hajj and Umrah Affairs Specialist, and Khaled Ali Al-Qahtani, Marketing and Promotion Specialist.
According to the decision, the committee is concerned with studying the affairs of centers and seminars for memorizing the Noble Qur’an, teaching its sciences, and following up their work. In particular, it has the right to raise recommendations regarding requests for and renew licenses, follow up on the progress of work in centers and circles, and the commitment of the licensees and their workers to the requirements and decisions issued in this regard, and approve an evaluation Perform centers and seminars, make recommendations regarding promotion, download, or cancel license, as the case may be, and investigate violations that may occur from centers and circles or their employees, and raise recommendations regarding them.
It is also responsible for preparing and reviewing the educational regulations, including setting and developing curricula and curricula, setting standards for selecting and nominating members of examination committees, setting criteria for candidates for exams, setting standards for equivalence of certificates and licenses with one of the certificates and licenses granted by the ministry, setting dates for exams and following up their progress, and preparing a proposal to distribute The budget is at the beginning of the ministry's fiscal year, and the amount of the budgeted budget is taken into account in the distribution process, in addition to all other tasks assigned to it or assigned to it, or what the committee deems necessary to research and develop.
