During its session today, Monday, the Council of Ministers approved a proposal with a desire to disburse rewards for workers in Quran memorization centers, and the Council decided to spend them in light of organizing remote study in a number of Quran memorization centers affiliated with the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
On the other hand, His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, affirmed that the continued government support for citizens to limit the effects and repercussions of the Corona virus (Covid 19) pandemic is a true translation of the royal directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council valued the decision taken by the Council of Ministers in its session today (Monday), regarding taking care of electricity and water bills and municipality fees for all subscribers, citizens of their first residence, for a period of 3 months, starting from October 2020, and not exceeding the bills of the same period last year for each subscriber. In addition to directing the Central Bank of Bahrain to urge all banks to postpone loan payments to citizens affected by the Corona pandemic until the end of this year in a manner that does not affect banks' liquidity and financial solvency, expressing his sincere thanks and abundant gratitude to His Majesty the King, may God protect him, for His Majesty’s keenness to issue his high directives To reduce the burdens on citizens.
