In the context of its follow-up to the issue of opening mosques and the gradual return of collective worship according to new developments, and based on the previous council’s decision to open mosques and gradually return to collective worship and religious gatherings, taking into account the reasons and all necessary precautions and precautions.

 

 The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, in its regular session held on Tuesday on Safar 26, 1442 AH, corresponding to October 13, 2020 CE, decided to agree to continue the gradual opening of mosques, by opening them for noon prayer, provided that the opinion of the national team to combat Coronavirus (Covid-19) is taken so that the mosques become open For the Fajr and Zuhr prayers.

Whereas the National Team for Combating Coronavirus (Covid-19) has decided to take this into account as of next Sunday of 15 Rabi Al-Awwal 1442 AH corresponding to November 1, 2020 CE in accordance with the necessary controls and procedures, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs has directed the competent authorities to act accordingly so that the mosques are open God Almighty wills for the Fajr and Zuhr prayers.
