Some stranded UAE residents in India say they will resort to an "expensive option" for business aircraft to return to the country.

With India delaying start dates for scheduled passenger flights to foreign destinations including the United Arab Emirates, expats who say they are desperate to return after months of uncertainty are ready to pay up to 15,000 dirhams per ticket to travel to the country from their place of residence.

It seems that business jets, which are a means of transportation yet reserved for the wealthy and not necessarily used to return or evacuate stranded people, to save those who can afford to spend between 10,000 and 15,000 dirhams for a choice.

Despite the price of a one-way ticket to the UAE on a 12 or 14-seat business jet that operates for about ten times the cost of a one-way business class ticket in the pre-Covid period from cities in India to those in the UAE, Residents yearn to bomb it and find a closure.
