The coming days witnessed a decisive meeting regarding the date of the return of direct flights with a number of 34 banned countries, especially the countries of domestic workers, after the General Administration of Civil Aviation had completed the preparations for the various procedures required to receive returning travelers in accordance with the requirements set by the health authorities.

Sources stated that the government committee formed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Social Affairs and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Maryam Al-Aqeel will discuss in the upcoming meeting the plan drawn up by the General Administration of Civil Aviation, the broad lines of which were reviewed in the meeting of the Minister of State for Services Affairs and the Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Mubarak Al-Haris with the leaders and officials of the administration yesterday.

It revealed that "the return will be limited to holders of valid residency, and that among the perceptions developed within the plan is the creation of an electronic platform to register expatriates stranded abroad before they are allowed to travel to Kuwait."
