Government sources revealed that the Council of Ministers did not take at its meeting any decision to lift the ban on the list of 34 countries banned from entering the country, and no new countries were added to the list.

The sources indicated that the committee in charge of following up on Corona's situation in the country has not presented any vision so far with regard to quarantine for a week for returnees from banned countries or quarantine them in hotels inside the country.

The sources confirmed that the meeting today reviewed the health situation and the cabinet’s follow-up on Corona’s developments.

The sources stated that the quarantine period for those coming from abroad has not changed and is still two weeks until further notice.

She noted that the meeting stressed the need for the concerned authorities to join hands to control compliance with health requirements, monitor any gatherings of candidates or special events in the current period, and apply the harshest penalties against them.
