The Roads and Transport Authority said that these improvements will ease traffic between Dubai and Sharjah and improve safety along the corridor.
The Roads and Transport Authority has already improved all intersections along Tripoli Street, including the upper bridge connecting to Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Road; The bridges leading to Emirates Road and Nouakchott Street; And a tunnel at the intersection of Algeria Street (Mirdif - Al Warqa).
The authority also completed the construction of a new road along an open area extending from the intersection of Tripoli Street and Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street to Emirates Street. The road, which extends over a length of 5.3 kilometers, consists of three lanes in each direction, and thus will serve the urban expansion of the Shabak Valley.
