A decision has been issued to appeal the passport renewal requests to expatriates of this nationality and all applicants are required to maintain appropriate social spacing standards.
The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi will remove "all restrictions" on requests to renew passport at BLS International Centers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain as of 15 July.
However, the elderly (over 60 years old); Minors (less than 12 years); Pregnant women and persistent people are exempt from personal appearances in the centers.
"All applicants are required to maintain appropriate social spacing standards according to local rules and regulations and to wear face masks and gloves while visiting BLS centers," the embassy said on Twitter on Wednesday.
Indian passport services were suspended in all centers in March as a precaution against the spread of Covid-19.
