Ahmed Al-Ansari, the Prosecutor for the Trafficking in Persons Prosecutor stated that the Public Prosecution has completed its investigations into the incident of trafficking, kidnapping and unlawfully seizing of two Asian girls for the purpose of misusing them in acts of prostitution and sexual assault, and ordered the defendants to be referred to the First Supreme Criminal Court and set a session on 11/24/2020 for consideration. ...

 

The incident concludes that the two accused of Asian nationality kidnapped their victims from their residence, moved them and detained them in one of the apartments for the purpose of forcing them to engage in prostitution, and they interrupted them sexually without their consent under duress and threats after they took their mobile phones to prevent them from seeking help from others, and one of the victims was able to draw The attention of one of the passers-by who came to the apartment and knocked on its door, so one of the two accused came out to him at that time, and the victim took advantage of the opportunity and rushed to the door of the apartment and managed to escape after the two defendants tried to prevent her from going out by beating her, so the police officers who came and released the second victim were informed.

The Public Prosecution began investigating procedures as soon as the report was received, as it heard the statements of the victim and facilitated their return to their previous work, as well as the witnesses of the incident. She interrogated the two defendants and ordered that they be transferred to criminal trial.
