Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Sam Al-Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, said that failure to adhere to the rules of behavior caused many serious accidents, especially at traffic lights and intersections.

Brigadier Al Naqbi urged motorists to drive their vehicles in the lanes designated for them and refrain from changing lanes at intersections, and Brigadier Al Naqbi confirmed that all signboards clearly indicate the possibility of turning to the right or left.

The officer emphasized that the surveillance cameras detect traffic violations such as bypassing the red signal, bypassing intersections at high speed, and "now, the violations of changing the lane."
