Sources responsible for a new mandatory decision have announced to all expatriates and citizens coming to Kuwait Starting from the beginning of August, with the commencement of commercial flights to and from Kuwait, in implementation of the Cabinet’s decision.

 

An official source announced that conducting a "PCR" examination for the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) has become mandatory for all arrivals to Kuwait International Airport, starting in early August, whether for citizens or residents who have residency in the country, even if the citizen or resident has spent a day One out of the country.


The source revealed that the Supreme Committee for the Re-operation of Commercial Trips met a short while ago under the chairmanship of Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud and the presence of the Minister of Health Sheikh Basil Al-Sabah, where a review of the "health" protocol on health controls and requirements for the departure and arrival of citizens and residents to Kuwait International Airport.


The source stated that the examination of the «PCR» for the departures will be through the establishment of a laboratory to conduct examinations for the countries that request the examination, as the service will be available to citizens and residents.
