In implementation of the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the country's monarch, may God bless him and protect him, by uniting national efforts to confront the repercussions of the Corona virus (Covid-19) globally at the local level, in order to preserve the health and safety of citizens and residents in parallel with the continuation of the state’s programs and its work path to achieve Endeavors for sustainable development for the benefit of citizens.

 Following the decisions of the government headed by His Royal Highness the distinguished Prime Minister, may God preserve him, and in support of national efforts led by His Royal Highness, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, may God protect him, the government decided, after meeting and consulting with the legislative authority and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and taking their views, paid 50 % Of the salaries of insured Bahrainis in the most affected establishments in the private sector for a period of 3 months, starting in July 2020, according to the conditions and controls set by the Minister of Labor and Social Development in coordination with the relevant authorities.
