The Dubai Health Authority announced on Monday that residents can now book appointments to take the Covid-19 PCR test via malls in Dubai.
The Dubai Health Authority said that the PCR test stations, located in Mall of the Emirates, City Center Mirdif and City Center Deira, receive customers seven days a week from 11 am to 6 pm with a prior appointment. Appointments can be booked by calling the toll-free DHA number 800DHA (800342).
People with a fever or any respiratory symptoms should not be tested in the mall because this service is specifically for those who need a PCR test result for travel and other non-medical purposes.
Each Covid-19 PCR Test Station has the capacity to perform 180 tests per day. The result of the PCR test, which costs 150 dirhams, will be sent to the customer within 24 hours.
The launch of the Covid-19 PCR Test Station across malls in Dubai is in line with the Dubai Health Authority's preventive and preventive measures to combat the disease and is in line with the Dubai Health Authority's keenness to ensure Dubai residents have easy access to the Covid-19 PCR test.
Humaid Al Qatami, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, visited all three Covid-19 PCR testing stations on Monday along with Dr. Amer Ahmed Sharif, head of the Covid-19 Command and Control Center in Dubai, and Dr. Farida Al Khaja, CEO of Clinical Support Services at the Health Authority. Dubai and the nursing sector, Ahmed Al Nuaimi, CEO of Joint Corporate Support Services, and other high-ranking officials.
