 In a new page of the record of the bright names that took over the rule of Kuwait, and after the country bid farewell to its fifteenth Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, may God have mercy on him, and with the responsibility of the strong, faithful, the title of the emirate is transferred to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad as the sixteenth ruler of the country, in accordance with the constitution and the provisions of the Emirate's inheritance law.

 

After 14 years of his appointment as Crown Prince, his late brother, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, in every major and minor affairs of government, and after decisive positions and decisive moments in the country's history, he stood next to him in which he supported, supported, encouraged and participated in decision-making, the role of His Highness came to assume the great responsibility in Reign of Kuwait.

Throughout the past 14 years, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad was Crown Prince in accordance with the Amiri Order issued by His Highness the late Amir on February 7, 2006, to recommend His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad to the Crown Prince for what he entrusted in His Highness of goodness, merit and competence that qualifies him to assume this position.
