The National Medical Team for Corona virus (Covid-19) announced a reduction in the cost of conducting a laboratory examination for Corona virus (PCR) for all coming to the Kingdom of Bahrain, including citizens, residents and visitors, from 60 dinars to a total of 40 Bahraini dinars for the arrival and examination after the lapse of 10 days of residency in the Kingdom.

 

The National Medical Team for Corona virus Response stated that they will continue all the precautionary measures announced previously, including activating the electronic application “conscious society” for all comers and canceling the precautionary home quarantine for arrivals whose laboratory results show negative, with the signing of a pledge to acknowledge their commitment to the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health to self-isolate until they obtain As a result of the examination conducted for them at the time of arrival, and the examination will be conducted on the tenth day of arrival in the Kingdom for all arrivals who will reside in Bahrain for a period of more than 10 days.

Those who have a positive test result will be contacted by the Ministry of Health through their contact information, which was recorded upon their arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The national medical team noted that the decision to reduce the cost will be effective tomorrow, corresponding to the first of December 2020, stressing that it will continue, according to the data and results, to review all relevant decisions periodically in a manner that preserves the health and safety of everyone.
