Reopening mosques for Fajr, noon and afternoon prayers

The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments stated that based on the Sharia opinions issued by the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs regarding the performance of worship during the time of the spread of the Corona pandemic (Covid 19), and based on the recommendations of the national medical team to address Corona virus, and after coordination with the Sunni and Ja`fari endowments,

It has been decided to open mosques and mosques as they were before the last closure, in order to perform the Fajr, Zuhr and Asr prayers only, starting from the Fajr prayer on Thursday 4 March 2021 AD, taking all necessary precautions and precautionary measures, and following the recommendations of the competent authorities under the supervision of those in charge and volunteers at mosques and mosques.

The ministry said that according to the data, the relevant decisions in this regard will be reviewed periodically in accordance with the legal controls and health recommendations issued by the competent authorities.
