Repatriate 2000 stuck citizens from the United Arab Emirates with 10 private flights per week, On Tuesday, the Indian embassy published a list of 177 passengers who will travel on the first evacuation flight from Abu Dhabi to Kochi on Thursday.
India plans to return up to 2,000 stranded citizens from the United Arab Emirates with 10 private flights in a week starting Thursday.
For this purpose, embassy officials compiled a priority list of passengers and informed them on the phone. The first list of evacuees is chosen from the database created after registrations made on the official portal.
All 177 passengers need to fill out a self-declaration form, containing their personal and health details. These forms are provided at airline offices, where tickets will be booked.
According to the sources, the ticket fare is expected to be less than 800 dirhams.
On Thursday, there is another flight that will fly from Dubai to Kozhikode. In the following days until Wednesday, there will be private flights to Chennai, Lucknow, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Amritsar (details of return flights).
