The Ministry of Interior issued a decision to take the necessary legal measures against violators of the decision to gather to confront the spread of the new Corona virus in the country.

 

The Director General of the General Administration of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Tawheed Abdullah Al-Kandari, stated that it is based on the tasks of the security establishment in implementing the decisions issued by the Council of Ministers and the instructions of the health authorities at the present time to confront the spread of the new Corona virus in the country, and in implementation of Law No. 64 of 2020 issued From the Ministry of Health, which prohibits holding parties, including weddings and other parties, whether they are held in a public or private place such as private housing or private diwaniyas, prohibiting the holding of banquets, receptions and others for non-family members, and prohibiting receptions or gatherings in public or private diwaniyas.

He stressed the security establishment's determination to carry out its duties entrusted to it, in the interest of the safety and security of citizens and residents from the spread of the virus, explaining that security men are at the highest readiness to deal immediately with any violation of the law, and the necessary legal measures will be taken firmly with the violators for the sake of everyone.

Al-Kandari called on citizens and residents to be up to national responsibility and adhere to the preventive and health measures recommended by the Council of Ministers and to cooperate with security men to protect the public interest.
