After leaving 27 flights the day before yesterday, Kuwait International Airport set a new record for the number of departing flights since the inception of the "Corona" virus, reaching 32 flights carrying 6,180 passengers.

 

 A source familiar with the General Administration of Civil Aviation said that the number of flights departing yesterday is the largest since the start of the pandemic, and it has transported passengers from the Gulf, Arab and Asian nationalities to their country, and the largest share of the Egyptian community, with 23 flights, has returned 4229 of the residents in the country To their country.

The source added that the airport also witnessed evacuation flights for residents from the Indian community to their country, on board 7 aircraft that carried 1132 passengers, a trip to Doha with 209 passengers, and a trip to Jordan with 320 passengers.

The source stressed that civil aviation issued direct instructions to all airlines, service providers and passengers, to adhere to health aspects, through the social separation of passengers, to wear masks and gloves, to take temperature measurements for all travelers, and to apply all safety and barriers.
