Imposing fees on expatriate transfers

In recent times, expatriates have become accustomed to attacking members of parliament and parliament, as MP Safaa Al-Hashim called for ending the services of all expatriates and deporting them to their countries.

This is due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus in Kuwait, and the Kuwaiti authorities took important decisions to disrupt schools and universities, impose curfews, disrupt government and private departments, and work from homes remotely.

As a result of these decisions, many citizens and residents were affected, many employees were terminated, and ministries began to take decisions to implement replacement policy and end the services of expatriates.

In the same context, MP Khalil Al-Saleh called for imposing fees on the expatriates' remittances, and he was surprised that some objected to this proposal and refused to impose fees on expatriate remittances despite the owner of the proposal, and stated that the proposal is included in the council's agenda.
