Today, Friday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced the registration of 486 new cases of the new Coronavirus (Covid 19) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 139,308, while two deaths were recorded as a result of contracting the disease, bringing the total number of deaths recorded to date to 861 cases.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments has reached 92, making the total of all cases that have been confirmed to have the disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care to 7,398 cases.

Al-Sanad indicated that the number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours reached 6250, bringing the total to 1042235.
