No paying bonuses for front-row workers
No paying bonuses for front-row workers

Hussein Sabeel Al-Azmi, head of the Federation of Governmental Workers' Trade Unions, said that the rewards for front-line workers in the fight against Corona virus have been delayed until now, which raises surprising and astonishment

Al-Sabeel added in a press statement that the delay in disbursing these bonuses is not justified for more than six months, noting that it was decided upon the lofty desire of His Highness the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah - may God have mercy on him, and therefore it was necessary to urgently disburse these Rewards as an encouragement for the first ranks of the workers for their strenuous efforts in serving the homeland and the citizens and residents of our precious land

Al-Sabeel called on His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled to issue directives to expedite the disbursement of these rewards, especially that the front-row workers in the fight against Coronavirus have performed their duties efficiently and competently, and many of them died, and many were infected

Al-Sabeel concluded by stressing that the urgency in disbursing these rewards is the greatest incentive for the front-line workers to continue to exert more effort and perseverance in fulfilling their mission in preserving the safety of citizens and residents.
