Justice postpones opening of mosques for noon prayer until 8 November

The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments stated that, as part of the follow-up to the decision to open mosques and the gradual return of collective worship according to new developments.

 

 And based on what the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs has decided to agree to continue gradually in the opening of mosques, by opening them for the noon prayer, and after coordination with the Sunni and Jaafari endowments to find out the approved organizational mechanism to sterilize the mosques that was followed regarding the Fajr prayer, so that the same mechanism for the noon prayer after the success of its effectiveness, According to the precautionary health precautions in light of the recommendations of the national team to combat the Corona virus (Covid-19), it has been decided to open mosques for noon prayer on Sunday, November 8, 2020, in order to ensure the completion of the necessary preparations for the implementation of the sterilization mechanism and the completion of the preparation of mosques and to ensure that they are ready to receive worshipers Twice a day for the obligatory prayers, which are Fajr and Zuhr, according to the health instructions prescribed in this regard.

The Ministry of Justice said that it will continuously follow up with the endowments to make the necessary arrangements to ensure compliance with the implementation of the health measures approved by the national team to combat the Coronavirus (Covid-19), in advance and in a manner that ensures the achievement of a healthy, safe environment that reassures worshipers and rebuilds the homes of God.
