The Public Facilities and Environment Committee in the House of Representatives held its meeting this morning, Monday, November 2, 2020, chaired by His Excellency the Representative Mohamed Bouhammoud, who stated that the committee discussed the draft law amending some provisions of the law on the regulation of civil aviation promulgated by Law No. (14) of 2013 accompanying Decree No. 2020, and decided to meet with the Ministry of Transportation and Communications to review the ministry's comments regarding the draft law. ...

 

Bouhammoud explained that the draft law includes amendments to the civil aviation law in line with the national legislation of the changes witnessed by the international air transport industry, and its inclusion in developments that ensure keeping up with international requirements to enhance aviation safety and security in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

As for the proposals item willingly, MP Bouhammoud stated that the committee agreed to the proposal willingly regarding the rehabilitation of the coasts of the villages of Aker and Al Maameer and Sitra Island, and the proposal willingly to allocate the remainder of Al-Lawzi (marine) land as a popular market for the people of the northern seventh district, and the proposal with a desire to take The necessary procedures for issuing engineering specifications for places, public roads, buildings, places of worship, recreational homes, market entrances, parking lots and other facilities frequented by people with disabilities, and adherence to these procedures in order to facilitate the access of persons with disabilities to these places, adding that the committee will submit its report on these suggestions to the council office in preparation for To be presented during the next sessions.
