His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, called on citizens, residents, ministries and government institutions to raise the UAE flag on 3 November , on the occasion of Flag Day.
The United Arab Emirates celebrates Flag Day on the 3rd of November every year to commemorate His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him.
Sheikh Mohammed launched the initiative in 2013. The Vice President of the UAE went on Twitter on Friday, calling on citizens and residents to raise the flag sharply at 11 am. “The UAE flag is a symbol of our unity and sovereignty, and we celebrate it on November 3. I invite all our institutions, ministries and schools to raise it at 11 am on that day.
We will put it together as an expression of belonging to the UAE.
