The Deputy Director General of the municipalities of the governorates of Al-Asimah and Al-Jahra, Faisal Al-Jumah refused to reduce the fees for road occupancy within the proposed list.

 

 Al-Jumah said that with regard to the request of the Legal and Financial Committee of the Municipal Council to add an item for major festivals in the list of temporary exhibitions or the regulation of road occupancy and reduce, as a clause has been added in the draft Ministerial Resolution 171/2006 regarding the list of occupancy licenses, with a period not exceeding three days, renewed for periods Similar subject to the approval of the concerned authorities.

 He added that the sums mentioned in the terms of the ministerial draft are considered appropriate regarding road works, and they must be adhered to.

It is noteworthy that the Legal and Financial Committee asked in one of its meetings from the executive body to submit a study to add an item for large festivals in the list of temporary exhibitions or the list of road occupations, the reduction of fees in 3 items of Article 5 as follows: The first item: the monthly fee is amended for each square meter of the used area From 3 to 2 dinars, and the second: the monthly fee for each square meter of the exploited area is adjusted from 5 to 4 dinars, and the third: the monthly fee for each square meter of the exploited area is adjusted from 10 to 6 dinars.
