Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, will become the first Gulf airline to operate commercial passenger flights to and from Israel to transport the most prominent Israeli tourism and aviation companies to the United Arab Emirates.

The historic flight, which will be operated in partnership with Mamon Group, will depart Tel Aviv on October 19 on an Etihad Boeing 787 Dreamliner for a three and a half hour flight from Israel to the UAE, while the return flight departs Abu Dhabi on October 21.

The flight will carry a group of travel industry leaders, decision-makers, travel and freight agents and media professionals to learn about Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates in general, at the invitation of Etihad Airways and representatives of the tourism sector in Abu Dhabi.

The new relations between the two countries, which will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening the economy of the two countries, especially in the trade and tourism sectors, and thus provide many benefits to the various and diverse peoples who make this wonderful region their home.

As one of the factors that facilitate trade, flights between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi will carry commercial goods to and from certain points along the Etihad network, along with passengers.

In conjunction with this flight and to celebrate the signing of the peace agreements between the UAE and Israel, Etihad Airways became the first non-Israeli airline in the Middle East to launch a website for the Israeli market in Hebrew and English.

The official website contains extensive information about the Federation's operations, products and services, its global network of destinations, in addition to a tourist guide for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. More can be found by visiting for Arabic and for English.

As the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways is considered one of the leading airlines known for its exceptional service and leading cabins in the Arab aviation and hospitality sector.
