Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways said on Sunday it had added two more flights, allowing residents and Emirati citizens to book flights to and from the Emirates.
The airline will operate a one-time service from Abu Dhabi to Toronto, depart at 10 am on May 21 and return the next day, and will operate a one-time service to Belgrade.
The flight will depart at 8:30 AM on May 21 and return from Belgrade to Abu Dhabi at 14:05 PM on May 21.
Last week, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates will start with 12 destinations, allowing Emirates citizens and residents to book flights.
Etihad Airways is currently operating flights to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, London, Manila, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, Tokyo and Toronto.
Passengers must apply in advance to obtain the approval of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship via the UAE Residents Service in Twajudi and upon submitting the application the applicant will receive a unique ICA approval number via email that must be submitted to Etihad at the time of booking.
Travelers must also hold a valid UAE residence visa and ICA approval number in order to be accepted for travel to the UAE.
