Emiratis traveling to Dubai exempted from Covid-19 tests

The emirate's Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management said on Friday that Emirati travelers traveling to Dubai from anywhere in the world are now exempt from pre-flight Covid-19 tests, as it announced changes to travel protocols.

UAE citizens heading to Dubai will not have to undergo PCR tests in the country they are traveling from, regardless of the length of their stay.

They will only be required to take the test upon arrival in the emirate, according to the revised guidelines that have been put forward as per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

For all returning residents and inbound tourists, a Covid-19 PCR test remains a requirement before they depart for Dubai, as per the protocol.
