Air India Express announced in a recent report that the Covid-19 test report is not required for children under 12 traveling from India to the United Arab Emirates.


The airline said on its website:

“For children under 12 years of age, the Covid-19 PCR test is not mandatory.”

The airline published: "A valid Covid-19 PCR test, from a government-approved laboratory, does not exceed the departure date of 96 hours prior to travel to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah."

In response to a tweet from a passenger who was worried about testing her baby before traveling to the United Arab Emirates from India, the airline said: "According to the latest update, this is only mandatory for travelers over 12 years old.
