The Council of Ministers has announced a financial reward in honor of the employees working in the front rows in the fight against the emerging corona virus, based on the directives of His Highness Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad and honoring them financially and morally.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Marzouq Al-Ghanem, issued a statement saying:
“The cooperative sector, its workers, and volunteers were a cornerstone of the societal confrontation with the Corona epidemic and its effects on daily living life, and they were an important factor in strengthening the necessary food and consumer security, so the government should be fair to the cooperative sector and give it the honor it deserves.”
The Civil Service Bureau shall prepare lists of names included in the decision for each employee to disburse the reward for him based on the number of actual days that the employee was on his job.
The civil service performs a good review and audit of the returns it receives from government agencies
If there are any notes or errors, the rewards will be delayed.
The financial reward for the first category within the high-risk segment is twice the daily wage of the employee multiplied by 2, meaning that if the employee who belongs to that category and the segment receives a salary of one thousand dinars and was present at the head of his work throughout the month, he will be paid 3 thousand dinars, which is his salary ( 1000 dinars) and a bonus (2000 dinars) equivalent to twice the salary.
As for the second category, those who are covered are granted 50 percent of the basis specified in the reward of the first category, meaning that one who receives one thousand dinars will pay him 2000 dinars, which is his salary (1000 dinars) and a reward (1000 dinars). As for the third category, it will be paid according to the same example (25 percent), i.e. 1000 dinars as a salary and a reward of 500 dinars.
