For workers on the front lines of health personnel and other support agencies and their families, which comes as confirmation of His Highness's appreciation for their national efforts exerted in dealing with the Coronavirus.
This came during the press conference held by the National Medical Team to address Coronavirus (Covid-19) this afternoon at the Crown Prince Medical Research and Training Center at the Military Hospital to talk about the latest developments in the Corona virus.
Dr. Walid Khalifa Al-Manea, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, a member of the national medical team to address the Coronavirus, confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is ready to host the two races of the Bahrain Grand Prix for Gulf Air and the Rolex Sakhir Grand Prize for Formula One, and it will achieve distinction in its organization, God willing, through the efforts of its loyal children, noting the precautionary measures that have been taken. And necessary preventive measures based on the detailed protocols in place to preserve the health and safety of everyone.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health added that registration is open for front-row members and their families to attend the two races of the Bahrain Grand Prix for Formula One Gulf Air and the Rolex Sakhir Grand Prize, as registration is available through the national volunteering platform and priority for pre-registered according to conditions and controls.
On the other hand, Al-Mane 'praised what all members of the Bahrain team, especially the front lines of the medical staff, the military and security support agencies, and all government agencies had done for their diligent and continuous work in facing the Corona virus and responding to it, and said that we will continue to thank our heroes in the front lines, which is the least that can be provided In gratitude for their efforts; Thank you, history will not forget you.
Al-Manea explained that the Kingdom of Bahrain has taken many proactive steps and provided all the capabilities necessary to deal with the Corona virus in a manner that preserves the health and safety of citizens and residents, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain has requested more than a million vaccines since last August from several companies, and as soon as the vaccines are approved by the National Authority.
For professions, health services and international health organizations, Bahrain will be one of the first countries to provide the vaccine, as the concerned authorities set plans to administer the vaccine to citizens and residents with ease and in accordance with the best global health practices in this field.
