A passenger died on an Indian plane who was forced to make an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, according to reports in India and Pakistan.
The passenger, Muhammad Nushad, 30, from the city of Barili in the state of Uttar Pradesh, was announced dead after a team of paramedics arrived at the airport for treatment.
His condition deteriorated during the flight and he suffered a heart attack before the plane landed, according to the Pakistani newspaper Express Tribune and other media.
Media sources said that the private airline GoAir (6658) with 179 passengers on board was on its way from Riyadh to New Delhi.
Reports claimed that the plane left the airport after refueling.
