Abu Dhabi will resume all activities within two weeks

Abu Dhabi Emergency and Crisis Committee to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic has begun working with the relevant authorities to resume "all activities within two weeks."

Abu Dhabi Government Media Office said on Wednesday that this step comes in response "to the success achieved through implementing the precautionary measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 and ... the decrease in the rate of cases."

"All economic, tourism, cultural and entertainment activities in the emirate will be fully resumed, while the precautionary measures already in place will be strengthened to preserve all the health gains achieved," the media office said.

The committee renewed its commitment to continue efforts made to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus, "including active tracking and testing programs and humanitarian efforts in support of social stability."
