Etihad Airways announced the re-payment of employee allowances in full and reducing the deduction from basic employee salary to 10%

Etihad Airways announced the re-payment of employee allowances in full and reducing the deduction from the basic salary of employees to 10%, after it previously ranged between 25% and 50%, starting from the first of September this year until the end of this year.

A spokesperson for Etihad Airways said in a press statement today that the company views with appreciation the commitment and dedication shown by all employees over the past five months despite the difficult circumstances imposed by the Corona pandemic.

The global aviation sector has been severely affected as a result of the Corona pandemic, which has led to a sharp decline in travel levels, forcing many airlines worldwide to lay off employees and temporarily reduce the salaries of other employees.
